Alfred Hitchcock.

Normally I am wary of reputations. Atleast in India, even mediocre persons carry reputations that go much farther than their talents.
But ALfred is a genious. I just watched a his film by name "Rope". Shot in a single room. I now know what's budget of my next film is going to be. Did I tell you people I am going to buy Sony HD camera and make a film along with a friend soon.
Theme will be friendship, failed romance, religious intolerance, WMD (or lack of it), Holy Grail, Chinese Invasion of Japan, Cybersex all rolled into one big heart wrenching story. :)
Kidding apart, I am going to make a film. I just need to win a lottery.
Kungfu Hustle, Larence of Arabia, Casablanca, Guide, Sarfarosh,.....Kind of movies one would love to make.
I will not be goin for any special effects. Story will be about people, their responses to the environment around them, nuances of responses,...
Ok, I revealed enough trade secrets. Just watch my movie, nominate that for oscars. And Please, Please don't watch my movie on Pirated DVD. Like I do for 100s of films. Think about all those poor artists. :) Later.

Alfred Hitchcock was indeed very talented and Rope was a brilliant film. Too bad it is often overshadowed by other Hitchcock films such as Psycho, The Birds, or Vertigo.
