Elections.

Elections in India are a joke. Only rich people get to compete in them. In reserved seats, money requirements may be a bit low. Unless a person is exceptional he cannot hope to win by being independent. (Not affliated to the party)
And to get affliated to some prominent party, one needs to pander to people varying from Italian Ex house wife to idiotic, egoistic, casteist leaders of parties.
Once you have spent money , how can you be honest? You need to recover the expenses and earn for future elections.
The whole thing is a vicious cycle. A cycle which willing people enter and then block others. Is there a way out? This bloody feudal society will try to preserve it's structure. I wish for the impossible.
